SteamWorld Build
SteamWorld Build (SWB for short) is a city building, dungeon and resource management game which is currently in development by The Station and published by Thunderful Publishing. The game will be released on December 1st, 2023. It was announced with a trailer on January 16th, 2023 as part of the first SteamWorld Telegraph episode. This game will mark the sixth installment in the SteamWorld series, following SteamWorld Quest from 2019. This game also marks the first 3D SteamWorld game as well as the first game of the series created by a different studio than Image & Form (which has been integrated into Thunderful Games).
Plot
The game starts with Jack Clutchsprocket and his daughter Astrid Clutchsprocket, who arrive in Grand Gully. They have been let there by an mysterious Core, who claims that there are ruins of an old civilization in the old mine that will allow them to find a way to escape the dying earth.

SWB will feature three difficulty settings to give a challenge to players of all abilities.
Development
The development of SWB started in early 2020. The working title of the game was "Coffee".
Release
The game will release on December first 2023 for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
Demo Version
A demo version of SWB has been released shortly after the reveal of the first trailer on January 16th, 2023. The demo is available on PC via Steam, Epic Games and GOG and shows some early game elements. This includes both city building as well as some mining features. The demo version ends as soon as the first rocket ship part has been aquired by the player.
